At the Institute of Biomechanics (IBV) we develop and transfer scientific knowledge and technologies to improve the health, well-being and quality of life of people, adding value to companies and the social and economic environment. We focus our strategy on developing solutions, based on our knowledge, that provide exceptional value to our clients and allow them to provide an effective response to the challenges of the present and the future, helping them to innovate and be competitive in the market.

The scientific knowledge we develop is the source of our competitive and differential advantage. It is articulated through 5 large areas of knowledge application in which we analyze the behavior of the human body and its relationship with the products, environments and services that people use: 3D Anthropometry; Human factors; Biomedical engineering; User experience (UX); and Digital Health. We work globally in 11 sectors of activity: Health Technology; Automotive; Mobility and Smart cities; Rehabilitation and Personal Autonomy; Physical Activity and Sports; Clothing and Footwear; Children and Childcare; Old people; Habitat; Tourism and Leisure; Occupational Health and Wellbeing.

IBV is a full member of Fedit and also belongs to REDIT, the Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community.
