The CTC Technology Centre was created in 2000 as a private, non-profit foundation. Since 2008 it has been recognized by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness as a “Technological Centre”, registration number 79. Since then, it is the only technology center in Cantabria that has this distinction that recognizes those non-profit entities whose main objective is improving the competitiveness of companies through the generation of technological knowledge, carrying out R&D&i activities and developing their application.

The mission of the CTC Technology Centre is to provide value to companies through the application of Science and Technology, designing practical and advanced solutions for the industry. CTC wants to be close to companies to develop innovative technology transfer processes that increase the competitiveness of the industrial fabric and facilitate their access to international markets.

The CTC Technology Centre provides knowledge applied to high-value solutions for clients. Its main objective is to consolidate itself as a reference center for innovation in Cantabria and as a qualified innovative agent in other markets.

Likewise, CTC intends to direct its activity to the market through its own technological solutions; network with companies and other research centres; and achieve sustainable growth through a stable mix of financing through regional, national and international public calls, and projects with private companies.
